Story Time at Mount Sinai Hospital

I am so excited to announce that my third book is finally in the printing phase! All proceeds from this latest book will benefit Companions in Courage, a wonderful organization started by NHL legend Pat LaFontaine. Companions in Courage (CIC) builds technologically advanced playrooms in hospitals, so children and teen patients have a space to go and connect to the outside world through video games, computers and other engaging activities. These playrooms are amazing!!!

While I wait for my latest book to be printed and released, my family and I met Pat and Mary Beth LaFontaine at Mount Sinai Hospital to visit the CIC playroom. Afterwards, I had the chance to read my first two books inside a TV studio at the hospital, which live streamed my reading to the child patients in the hospital beds! This video was taped and can be played anytime patients want to watch my reading and hear a good story about furry little animals believing in themselves.

It was such a unique experience reading to a TV camera. I look forward to reading my newest book to the same camera as soon as it is completed!
