Visiting Cohen Children’s Medical Center
Today, I read and discussed my book, A Weasel on an Easel, with the patients of Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Afterwards, I had the opportunity to go from hospital bed to hospital bed and read my book to patients who were unable to attend the shared reading in the hospital playroom. The smiles on the patients’ faces as I entered their rooms are something I will never forget. I have already spoken with the coordinators about my next visit!
